On Sunday, May 24, 2020, 1:00 pm PST, country music artist Ben Klick will host the second annual Music Fest MS. The inspiration for the annual concert is Ben’s father, who has multiple sclerosis (MS).

This year, the concert will be virtual, streamed live on Ben’s YouTube channel. Music Fest MS is a community-run benefit concert for those impacted by multiple sclerosis. The lineup for this year’s concert includes:

Last year’s live concert raised over $35,000 for MS research.

Multiple sclerosis, or MS, is an autoimmune disease where the immune system attacks the myelin sheath that covers nerve fibers. This creates communication problems between the brain and body and can lead to permanent nerve damage. Symptoms vary greatly from person to person and may include numbness, weakness in limbs, lack of coordination, vision problems, cognitive impairment, or mood changes.

The clip below is from a conversation we had with Ben last year where he discusses his connection to MS and plays an acoustic version of his song ‘Today’ that is dedicated to his father.
