The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Kelowna hosted their annual Red Dress Gala on October 26th at the Manteo Resort and a good time was had by all. The goal of the gala each year is to raise money to fund research and awareness programs about the cardiovascular concerns that afflict many women.

A silent auction, a grand prize raffle, high quality entertainment, and a red carpet fashion show helped bring the community together to celebrate the strength and resilience of the many women in the community afflicted by heart problems.

Approximately 1 in 4 women will die of a heart condition yet most cardiovascular research is geared towards men. The Heart and Stroke Foundation hopes to change that research focus.

The team at Zeal Access was delighted to be a part of the evening. Mrs. Zeal was particularly thrilled to win one of the silent auction items (axe throwing!!).
