In this short webinar, we provide 3 tips for designing (or redesigning) a website that is appropriate for advocacy groups.
Know your audience and create a website that they appreciate. If your main audience are donors then let them know where the money will be used. If the main audience are researchers then let them know about your grants. If the main audience are patients then provide them with practical information they want.
Understand that a website has to grab (and keep) a person’s attention in a very short period of time. That means that the website should be pleasing to the eye and easy to navigate.
Understand what google is looking for with their search algorithms and create a website that is google-friendly.
These tips seem difficult but it is fairly straight forward to develop a website that an advocacy group can be very proud to call their own.
